I've just tried to copy a couple of audio CD-Rs but for some reason the computer isn't recognising them and can't find anything in the CD drive.
Anyone know what might be up?

Should the computer not still be able to find them on the CD drive even if they are data files?

Aye thta's what I would've thought. You just get the whirring noise when it's looking for a CD and the green light on the drive flashing. I'm not sure what format they were copied in cause it was an aquintence that gave me them...

Maybe it's something to do with the type of audio files that are on the CD? What are you using to play the CD? Media Player?

I would suggest cleaning the disc, have you tried other discs? If its just trying to spin its usually struggling to read the disc which would point to the disc itself or the laser
