So after 12 years of owning Final Fantasy VII, I finally managed to beat Emerald Weapon.

This is without a doubt the hardest boss/level/game I've ever beat. What about you?
Any opinions are not necessarily my own but those of the BBC.

Taking York City from the bottom of the (then) Third Division into the Champions League on Champ Man 1993.

I've never had anything like that kind of success since in any subsequent CM/FM game.

Finally finishing Manic Miner back in the 80s was good too. No save games in those days, you had to do all 20 screens with just 3 lives.

Taking the Shire to the final of the UEFA Cup within eight seasons in CM03/04, or beating the aforementioned Emerald Weapon.

I don't really play alot of games apart from Sprots games which are fairly easy to get use to and complete. I can't remember any of the games from the PS2 days so I cannot comment on that either. So my feeble achievement to date has to be completing Mile High on COD4 on veteran.

Winning the World Cup on Top Level at Pro Evo with Northern Ireland.

...or getting to the UEFA Cup final first season with Millwall in a Champ Man 2001/02 update which found them in League One but as a European qualifier following their FA Cup final loss to Manchester United.

the last 2 Fm games on psp ive taken Stenhousemuir to the CL final and won ;)

on the one two years ago it only took 4 seasons as well, without much cheating ;) hardest jump by far is 2nd to 1st division btw

Also managed to get a couple of the best players in the game (made up players) but due to the way it works there only worth like 2m......

Everytime i beat England with Scotland on fifa I have a party on the inside aswell

I have taken Barrow from the BSP to the Coca Cola Championship in FM09 and am currently sitting in the play off position and only a few points behind the automatic promotion places, with more than half the season gone. I am now in season 2020/21

(although I do admit I did cheat a wee bit and Barrow are currently worth £700m+!!)

How is that an achievement then?

 Knights Of The Round/W-Summon/Mime + Final Attack/Phoenix?

Emerald and Ruby were pretty awful.

Completed the original Resident Evil in 1h 30, that was a bit of an achievement.
Let's all go to leggoland (it's hilarious)

HP Absorb + KOTR then mimed for Emerald.

Lucky Sevens, followed with Omnislash for Ruby. Then I chucked Dazers at him to paralyze him before KOTR+HP Absorb-ing him.

I'm sure I could've beat him earlier if I'd put the effort in, I don't think I've gone much higher than Lvl 70 in any of my previous games. I now have 3 level 99 characters, 3 Mastered Double Cut materia, 3 Master Magic's, 2 Master Summon, 1 Master Command and 2 Mimes. 8)

I'm thinking I might try and get a 100% perfect save though.

edit: Also stfu bawbag, I felt like a God when I beat Emerald. You'll never take that memory away from me.

I meant "awful" as in "difficult to beat". Typical Celtic fan, always like to feel persecuted ;)

What do you mean by an 100% save? I'd mean EVERYTHING, like doing all the battles at Fort Condor, getting Aeris her final limit break, stealing the Warrior Bangle, etc ;)

I believe it's generally accepted that having a level 99 Aerith is not required for what is considered to be a 100% save (as she's kaput by the time you can really ramp up the EXP for your party).

Yeah that's fair enough. I would say that you should have given her Great Gospel though.

(It's a fucking godsend when you're fighting Demon's Gate...any of her highish-level limit breaks are worth putting her in the party throughout the game for).

I'm not a great gamer, I just have miraculous skills of perseverance. I've totally finished FFVII (all weapons, KoTRT, Golden Chocobo et cetera), completed CoD4 and CoDWAW on Veteran, finished RE5 on professional, but I must say the most difficult things I've ever done in gaming were complete all of the Mercenaries meta-game levels on RE5 with an S rating, and complete Death Toll on Left4Dead on Expert difficult. Hair loss, broken controller (nearly), strained vocal chords and sanity and all.

One of Killzone 2 on hard or Resistance 1 & 2 on Superhuman.
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't

Not really much of a gamer but have managed to complete Medal Of Honor Frontline and Rising Sun plus The Getaway.

Beat Real Madrid 14-0 in the Wefa final in Pro Evo 6 and went 3 seasons without having a single player booked in master league mode.
This job would be great if it wasn't for the fucking customers.

It took me about an hour each to beat them IIRC, although it was about ten years ago. I actually found Dead Rising a bit of a challenge to beat on every single mode.

Ninja Gaiden Black on hard was probably the most difficult and satisfying achievement.
