I played back in Perth for the last couple of years, played in tournaments in England and Belgium with Steve's teams, whats the standard like there now? Still between Santos and the Allstars? Wanderers put up a decent fight last year aswell.

Standards getting a lot better these days loads of new teams coming through. Both youth teams are 1st and 2nd and santos are second from bottom. Potter has jacked it all in so they have fallen to bits.

I own a futsal and would far rather use that than shitey fluffy mitre indoor balls. However the amount of moans you get from people using the futsal for the first time is unbelievable. Ooh it's too heavy, you can't hit it hard, it smacks away from me..... Futsal's should be used more in primary schools to help develop touch and technique. The first touch of players in Scotland is very poor.
You will retire me, but Iniesta will retire us both.

I've heard the PYF Saltires are doing well at the moment. Apparently they have some fine young players, but are supposedly let down by their rather rotund goalkeeper.

I heard the opposite they have average young players but there 'keeper and that ginger striker were the lynchpins of the side.

PLayed in a futsal cup a few years back organised by Tenenents. Was a good laugh til a c**t of a ref denied us a place in the quarters when he gave a pen against me despite me not being within 3 yards of the player who went over n said player immediately telling ref he had slipped and not been touched....apparently i had 'intent'.....oddly when one of our strikers intended to score but ballooned it over the bar he didnt give us a goal.
Only thing i found distressing was how quickly teams resorted to wimbledon style route one football cos there was no height restriction like in 5s.
