My firewall has to date (since about 5pm this afternoon) blocked 1,610 access attempts!!!

Now, I know it's doing its job well, and stopping these fuckers hacking me, but does anyone have any idea what could be causing it, and why it's suddenly gone loopy?

Previously it was around one or two a day, if that.

I've done the spyware stuff etc and cleaned a few things out that they found, but it continues!

Anyone? Olaf?

Think yourself lucky, I've had 11,250 high-rated attacks.

No need to worry most of the packets tend to be from your ISP checking if you're online, port scanners are always looking for unguarded PC and Ports .

Don't worry about it, Most Hackers are looking for large IT infrastructures not home users.

Cheers Olaf. Only 17 have been high rated, so that's not too bad.

I was just wondering why it had suddenly started. I'll rest easy now.

Cheers for that. :)

You can have some fun seeing who has attacked you.

Type the Ip address of the Hacker in here.
