Dug out my old copy of FIFA 2000 the other day just for a change, but I can't seem to get it to work with Windows XP. I eventually got it to work on software mode without my 3-D card but the graphics are obviously p1sh. I wouldn't have thought my drivers were out of date as I've not had a problem with any other games. Anyone got any ideas?

Don't old games not work because of the old FAT32 and NTFS file systems?

Nope. More likely the fact that XP is NT/2000 based a proper 32 bit operating system, while earlier versions of windows were based on DOS. I'm pretty sure there is a way to run older programs on XP - never bothered myself though.

assuming you are on Xp, if you right-click on the actual .exe file there should be a tab called "compatibility". Play about with that and see if it helps you any.
