SUMMERFEST 2009 !!!
The card is looking decent.
WWE Championship
Randy Orton © vs. John Cena
World Heavyweight Championship
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match
Jeff Hardy © vs. CM Punk
ECW Championship
Christian © vs. William Regal
Unified Tag Team Championships
Chris Jericho and The Big Show vs. Cryme Time
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Rey Mysterio © vs. Dolph Ziggler
Triple H and Shawn Michaels vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr.
MVP vs. Jack Swagger
The Great Khali vs. Kane
Some of them are mouthwatering. Cena/Orton, Punk/Hardy and Rey/Dolph should all be great.

The 5 title fights look like they can throw up some entertainment. The rest of the fights look awful, apart from the DX one that I've left in purely based on HHH and HBK's absolutely dire microphone/acting skills. When did these 2 become so bad on the microphones and in general?
Watched RAW the other night and it was cringeworthy, HHH is still a great athlete but by jesus he's went right down with all this DX stuff.
Also noted was your glaring omission of Mickie James. She's the apple of my eye
EDIT : After reading this it appears I take WWE far too seriously

Is she on the card.
MVP vs. JACK SWAGGAH~~~!!! is not going to be awful. Infact I reckon if they give it time, they'll have a right good match. Shawn Michaels and Triple H are only bad on the mic when they are asked to be funny. They're not funny. They're badasses. HBK's promos around The Undertaker fued were amazing.
I personally hope they end the DX thing soon. They won't though, because it's a huge merch. shifter.

I'm assuming so, she fought Kim Lee? on RAW and Lawler & Coleman said Prinze Junior was "Bringing this part of Summerslam to Raw"

I disagree. Jack Swagger is terrible. At everything.

I dunno. While Punk and Hardy will obviously be good, I also wouldn't be surprised if Cena and Orton didn't have just as good a match.

I'd recommend a download for the main events and skip the rest, although MVP/Swagger might turn out good. HBK/HHH tend to like 25 minute tag matches, and I don't think Legacy will be up to it.
I think the build to Punk/Hardy has been amazing. The build to Rey/Ziggler has actually been not bad as well. No surprise that the two best fueds are on Smackdown.

While I disagree it's garbage, I have wondered something similar. If the slump continues then less and less people will care, and they'll have trouble filling arenas and such. Is there the possibility that they might stop one day ?

Randy Orton © vs. John Cena
Seen it hundreds of times but should be decent none the less.
World Heavyweight Championship
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match
Jeff Hardy © vs. CM Punk
The stuff dreams are made of
ECW Championship
Christian © vs. William Regal
Looking forward to this one as Regal has always been a personal favourite of mines. Should be a pretty good hard hitting match.
Unified Tag Team Championships
Chris Jericho and The Big Show vs. Cryme Time
Couldn't give a f**k about any of these guys apart from Jericho, therefore it shall be pretty damn good.
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Rey Mysterio © vs. Dolph Ziggler
Another match I'm looking foward to seeing. At first I wasnlt a fan of Ziggler but over the past few weeks he has been really good since his push.
Triple H and Shawn Michaels vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr.
Meh. It's DX......................again. I read yesterday that there is talk of putting this match on in the main event slot as it looks as though Jeff will be leaving after SummerSlam and therefore be dropping the title. They may usethis to end the PPV on a "high" with DX picking up the win.
MVP vs. Jack Swagger
Not particularlyu a fan of either but it should be OK.
The Great Khali vs. Kane
Erm.......er.......whit?

I'm sorry, but he was involved in a real main event with Jeff Hardy last time around and he performed incredibly well on the big stage.

This would be pathetic. I mean beyond pathetic.

Couldn't agree more. Not only should all PPV's (apart frpm the Royal Rumble) end with a title match but especially one of the big 4 PPV's of the year. It would be a terrible idea and I really hope it doesn't happen.

He can deal with hot crowds, so that won't be a problem. He's also a nutter when it comes to taking risks. He had an unreal tag match in ROH where he just took every stupid risk in the book. Man's a nutter. I reckon he's gonna shock the world on Sunday.

Especially a PPV where the two main events are MASSIVE. It's okay when the title matches aren't big, but the two title matches are huge.

Cena is the biggest money maker in WWE right now. This is not opinion. It's fact. I'm as sick of him in the main event scene as you are, but he's there for a reason. I reckon he's the best wrestler in WWE btw, but he's limited storyline wise. I want him to have a US or IC Title run.

The TLC match most definetly is huge as it has been 3 months in the making. But Orton/Cena huge................erm I'm not so sure. It's the same rehashed matches we got last year. It almost seems as thought they have said " Orton/Triple H has been done to death. What else can we do? The onyl person left is Cena..........again."
Just out of intrest, anyone planning on going to Sports Cafe for SummerSlam?

First up is Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler. Could be good. They had the spot before the main event last time so had to tone things down. This SHOULD be better.

This match was MUCH better than their last PPV match. A brilliant opener from these guys as you never knew what was coming next.
