What is the tie breaker? Is it the extra week score?

I'd assume that would be hte first tie-breaker, which he wins 5-4, if not they look at the scores from week 17 (would be a tie) then week 16, which i had the bad week. Therefore, i really need the Eagles to come back and win (somehow).

I was just looking at the rules.

In the overall competition (which of course doesn't drop worst week) the tiebreaker is the week 17 score, then week 16, week 15, etc.

I couldn't find any guidance for the individual leagues. I suspect there aren't any. Perhaps Reluctant Hero would know as he set the league up. Maybe it asked him to select tiebreakers?

I would presume that either they go with the week 17 score as above or there simply isn't one and the individual league is declared a tie.

hopefully we will declare it a tie, as it looks like it is odds on to be a tie.

Wouldn't say it's odds on to be so yet. The Ravens just need a score of any sort (well other than a safety) to screw you up. Three minutes to go.

EDIT - Ooh and the Ravens have just made a BIG play to reach halfway with the ball and over two minutes on the clock, though the Raiders sare out of Timeouts so knee taking might not be far away......................

Nah, it didn't ask me anything like that when I set it up.

I would expect it to be the Week 17 score.

It was a great league this year with so many people competing. Shame I am about to come last out of those that kept going until the end

I doubt they will even try to get any kind of score, unless the Raiders capitulate for a TD.

Nah they aren't going to.

They've started taking knees. Tie for first then as it stands. I presume we won't see what the League declares until after the Jets game tonight then although it makes no odds to us.

I think it'll just be declared a tie.

The Raiders spread win gives me 4th I think. Not bad. 1st, 1st and 4th in three years.

EDITED to add - Formal congratulations to Lights Out and Bluetooner on the joint win as it stands. I'll amend to Lights Out alone later if the system does declare him winner. Should I do a Green Jacket like ceremony?

Congratulations to Bluetooner and Lights Out.

Was a great competition with a handful of people still in with a chance of winning it going into week 17.

5th place for me in my Rookie Year, so Europa League it is then.

It's just down as joint 1st on the League page.

So far as I am concerned, since we didn't specify our own tiebreaker at the start, I think the result is therefore a tie.

Congratulations to both. :)

I think both contestants should PM the first week playoff predictions to a 3rd party, and whoever wins that gets the win. If it's still tied, then we go to the next round of playoffs.

Either straight up predictions, or someone could work out a spread for all four ties.

Or we could just declare them joint winners. ;)

Congrats anyway.

I finished 7th, which is reasonable. Only 9 points off the top, when at one stage it looked as though I'd be last. Disappointed not to beat Drifter, but I'll get him next season. :D

Well done to everyone who took part - especially my co-winner (you jammy b*****d).

I came across this prediction "pickem" or "brackets" for the playoff - it is just the free basic version, sign up if you want to:-

Playoff bracket game!

HOpefully we can get some kind of response to make it worthwhile. I have picked the progressive choices, so that you get more points if you picked the correct superbowl winner compared to predicting the correct wild card winner.

Good luck everyone that joins :D

I've signed up to this new thing although not sure what is going on with it.

I can no longer access the Pigskinpickem thing to check where I ended up?
