The 4th and final major of the year tee's off at Hazeltine National Golf Club this Tursday.

The course is set up for Tiger. He is on a roll and I cant see anybody other than Tiger coming away with the prize this week.

Hopefully the Brits/Europeans will mount a decent charge and Id love to see Westwood challenge agin.

Il be glued to Sky Sports for the next 4 days, Only problem is having to listen to Butch "Fucking" Harmon.

Dont know. Depends where you go. Paddy Power usually give top 7! My price of 90/1 is on Betfair win only.

You do know why I am backing Els dont you?

Not going to se much of Tiger or Padraig tonight as ther just about to finish as th golf goes on aiR.

Both Tiger and Harrington are 4- threw 15 which is tied with unter Mahan for the lead

That well known German Unter Mahan. ;)

Roland Rat and Tiger are playing the Par 5 7th, so either or both could easily get to 5 under before they're done.

He's actually getting a bit feckin' annoying.

I long for the days when any one of 15 - 20 players were in with a shout of winning.

He is simply awesome and I hope the youngr players realise that they will hav to knuckle down if here going to battle him.

That Italian amatuer who did well at the Open looks like he could be a challnger as long as he keeps improving. His game showed vrey few faults.

Anthony Kim was touted as the next Tiger a few year back but he aint done too much in my opinion.

I hope Westwood has a right go this week.

Westwood -1 thro' 15 - he'll be happy to finish the round there or -2 if he can birdie the 7th.

Kim +1 thro' 1

Top Scot is Alistair Forsyth on +1, which isn't too bad. He finished 9th last year so a good even par tomorrow should at least see a Scot make a cut- Scottish golf is grim at the moment.

I have my money on Lee Westwood and Ross Fisher both sitting ok with Westwood -2 and Fisher +1. But i think the tournament is won already with Tiger playing superb and is unbeatable in my opinion. Would like to see Monty have a good one and hopefully make the cut.

Did anyone hear Lyle last night when commenting on a Monty shot from the fringe rough?

Monty fluffed it and Lyle goes - 'Hmm for a minute there i thought he double hit it'- he clearly didn't. You could tell Ewan Murray didn't know what to say. I used to like Sandy Lyle but he is acting like a wee boy. Clown.

I've got a feeling for Ernie today. He always just goes for everything when he's this far back. A 65 or 66 should do it. C'mon The Big Easy!

Realistically Tiger will probably go out and have a near error free round, shoot 68 or 69 and win by 4 or 5 shots. Hopefully someone will challenge him though to make it interesting.

The players chasing Tiger are going to have to really go for it so it might get quite exciting with a few holes to go, but eventually on a course like that if you keep playing aggressively you'll get found out, just like with Els yesterday. Tiger will just play like yesterday, keep it safe and let everyone else shoot themselves in the foot, and I'd be amazed if he didn't win.

I'm very impressed by Yang.

Doesn't look bothered that he playing with the best player on the planet.

Kjeldson has recovered well after a bogey/bogey start. 4- after 7 now. 3 off the lead
