Looks an improvement on the last one, if still miles behind the quality of football game.

I can't wait till the indians get more heaviliy involved in gaming, then we'll get some dynamite cricket games.

D/L the demo last week, I was leaking runs like a sieve when I was bowling.

Will get it I imagine, hope to bowl out some Aussie on XBox live.

I got this this morning and i really like it, only played half a game so far, a 20/20 Australia vs Bangladesh, they had me all out after 10 innings for 150.

If anyone has it on the 360 and fancies a game tonight, drop me a message.

Played a bit of this last night (having already played the demo so aware of the controls) and this morning, impressed last night, today less so. Playing the Ashes series on normal difficulty level, went England, lost the toss and Aus batted, bit of cloud cover so should swing early on. After 14 overs last night before I went to bed I had them 62/1, not too bad, 4 and a bit an over is quite a quick rate but nothing criminal. Lots of block block block smash from the batsmen rather than trying to work the ball around.

Just played the rest of the morning session and at lunch (after 30 overs) they are 258/4, that's 196 runs in 16 overs, which is fast in 20/20 never mind Tests- Ponting got 93 off 47 and Hussey is 74* off 41. All the pre-release waffle was about building confidence in the Tests and building an innings- Clarke scored 16 off 6 balls, hitting 4 of them for 4 then holing out on the boundary going for a 6. Doesn't really tie in...

I wouldn't say I was bowling badly either, trying to mix it up, pitching it where it says you should pitch it then changing that strategy when the ball went round the park, dropping fielders back, but there were balls the AI was leaving last night 3-4 inches outside off stump that it was carting through the leg side today, uppercuts for 6 over 3rd man, the lot.

Might well simulate the rest of this innings now and have a shot at the batting. One plus note is that the suicidal AI running from the demo has been eradicated, the 4 wickets I've got have been 1 caught behind, 1 stumping and 2 outfield catches.

I think this will still be a good 20/20 game to play with friends, but I was really looking forward to seeing if they had produced a game where you could play a Test against the CPU and it was realistic, bowling to fields and bowling plans, but it looks as if they've failed.
Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch.

Surely just a re-creation of England's horrific performance yesterday? :P
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.

I was looking for the demo to download on the PlayStation Store but they don't seem to have it.
Can anyone help?

Just had to stop playing, need to have some food and get packed to go on holiday tomorrow. On normal difficulty it's pretty easy to score at more than a run a ball without being too outrageous, reached 81/2 after 14 overs after simulating the rest of their innings. Quite pleased to see that even if you play the non-lofted attacking shot with perfect timing you can still get caught, my second wicket was Bopara nailing a square cut that the point fielder took with a one-handed catch.

The AI took out all the slips when I was 20/0 after 3 overs though...

and I'm playing on 360 so don't know about PS3, sorry.

Not the Ashes, but revived my Brian Lara tonight. In the middle of playing a test match, England vs Bermuda ( )

Bowled them out for 102. Anderson got 3-21, Pieterson got 3-28 (I had a lack of spinners, infact, I only had two real bowlers  ), Flintoff 2-42 and Harmison 1-11.

In my batting I went apeshit. Anderson impressing again with the top fucking score!

Strauss got ran out for 8 (off 4).
Trescothick ( ) caught for 73 (Off 23).
Cook caught for 67 (Off 19).
Vaughan caught for 95 (off 34).
Bell run out for 70 (off 26).
Pieterson run out for 77 (off 27).
Joyce bowled for 81 (off 30).
Flintoff caught for 55 (off 22).
Collingwood bowled for 44 (off 20).

At this point i'd pretty much given up hope, as Andderson was in with Collingwood, meaning Harmison came in.

Anderson ended up getting ran out for 106 off of 63 with Harmison on 61 off 47. It's fucking hard batting with them so i'm chuffed as f**k that I got that kind of partnership (123). Class!

I played only on the 2nd highest level though as i've not played it for about 6 months.

I've got to go bowl them out, or make sure they don't get 700+ runs anyway

Edit: Bowled them out for 19

I had Brian Lara and it was brutal online.

Ten times worse than anbody that goes online as fifa and trys to rape you using only Ronaldo, berbatov and evra.

every game I played online everybody just pitched a yorker right at your feet everytime.
