How Do I Play .bin Files Rate Topic: -----

Use Nero to burn the file onto a CD

Select the option to burn an image file in Nero, or whichever software you have, and then choose the bin file you have. Don't simply copy the bin file to CD.

An alternative is to mount the bin file on a virtual drive. Sounds complicated but is simple if you have 'Alcohol 120%' or Daemon Tools. This means you can try the software before burning the image to disk, which can also be done using 'Alcohol 120%'.

Is it not the case that you need a .cue file for Nero. This cue file provides the info for burning the .bin file to the disc.

if it is a movie you want to play they you can play it through VLC media player without burning it to a CD

Go and download an application called daemon tools (or d-tools as it's sometimes known).

It will allow you to "mount" a .bin / .nrg / .iso / etc as if it was a cd/dvd drive.
