Of course not, but I don't get your point. They play in the Swiss League, but they also finished bottom of the Swiss League last season. They are relative minnows compared to FC Basle or Grasshoppers.

And we were a bounce off a fat arse away from from finishing bottom of the SPL and are absolute minnows compared to the likes of Rangers and Celtic.

We should have lost the first leg at home too - I said at the time I couldnt believe some peoples reading of that game and certain players performances - i.e. McDonald (who was it said it might be a worry that Owen Coyle recalls him  ) and O Brien (who actually surpassed himself last night)

Abysmal performance. Total humping. Should have been 4 or 5. Midfield totally non existant. This Slovenian better be world class.

Great trip though. Fans were terrific.

It's the 84th minute of the Cup Final and Falkirk score
Time to stick up my flag and work it up the Bairns.

Vaduz ffs.

What is my perfect crime? I break into Tiffany's at midnight. Do I go for the vault? No. I go for the chandelier - it's priceless. As I'm taking it down a woman catches me. She tells me to stop. It's her father's business. She's Tiffany. I say 'no'. We make love all night. In the morning the cops come and I escape in one of their uniforms. I tell her to meet me in Mexico, but I go to Canada. I don't trust her. Besides, I like the cold. Thirty years later I get a postcard. I have a son and he's the chief of police. This is where the story gets interesting: I tell Tiffany to meet me in Paris, by the Trocadero - she's been waiting for me all these years; she's never taken another lover. I don't care, I don't show up. I go to Berlin. That's where I stash the chandelier.

If our national team was beaten by Liechtenstein in a match, rest assured it would be a national scandal so why should this be any different?

You're right, I remember the scandal down south when Scotland beat England in the Champions League a couple of seasons ago. Thank god we've got Nakamura.

Dont care about the English team(Rangers) or the Irish team(celtic) but the rest I like seeing do Scotland proud.

Vaduz

Never mind Falkirk you can always take some consolation in the fact you've had the same number of European ties as such Scottish footballing greats as Airdrieonians, Gretna and Morton

Just another 21 ties to catch the Pars up or something more realistic 2 ties to catch the Rovers up

We're an unseeded team in the playoff round. Even if (probably when) we do get papped out, it still won't be an embarrassment. Much like if Mhotherwell lose to former European champions Steaua Bucharest.

OK I'll bite- how is it absolutely pathetic? They are a full time team who have a history of playing in Europe and they have a bigger budget than us (from what I have read since coming home).

It is pathetic. It's more pathetic that you're now brandishing excuses.

Falkirk are a professional premier league club but on last nights performance they were unprofessional, gutless, slow and unable to score. If you're happy watching that for the whole season then carry on as you are.

I didn't say I was happy with last night's perfomance, and I wasn't trying to make excuses. We were beaten by a better team over two legs- I'm not happy with the result or the performance but to call it "absolutely pathetic" is a bit far.
