Played this a bit tonight. First impressions are pretty good. A lot more sports than the original Wii Sports, as well as each sport having different games. Motionplus works really well, especially in fencing, table tennis and frisbee.

All in all, looks like a really good introduction to the MP and more simple fun in the same vain as the original, but dont expect any more

Its there to show the MP capabilities, which is does very well.

TW10 has a frisbee golf mini game too. "Flying Disc" in California Games was great, I really dont see what the big deal is.

Just a quick question, I am still undecided between an new xbox or if I should try a wii.

Some of my mates got bored of thier wii, is it all dependant on what games you buy, because TW and the new tennis game look awsomely fun on the Wii, especially if you go on line and play tournaments.

What do you guys think.

You're unlikely to get a sensible answer on here Im afraid ;)

Theres no doubt the MotionPlus will improve games, but I wouldnt buy a Wii on the back of it - not yet.

In my opinion, there are enough good Wii games out there, but you really need to decide which games you want to play.

If you want to play games online, buy a 360.

Depends what you like. I tihnk "hardcore gamers" would prefer a 360 but I prefer a bit of fun and playing with my mates and the wii does the trick for me. At the end of the day I find things like the PS3/360 a bit boring, I mean the Playstation has been about for about 15 years and its practically the same, the only difference is that the games look a bit nicer. Before when you went from a snes to an N64 or a playstation to a PS2 the jump in graphics really did impress, now its not enough for me to care. I'd get a Wii, get a few pals round and a few beers and its a good night in but if you're up for playing on your own for hours at a time a 360 might be better as sometimes the wii doesn't feel that good when you're playing by yourself

I prefer the multiplayer capablities of, say, an ACTUAL frisbee.

Depends really.

You should only get a Wii if you want to try new technology for the sake of trying new technology... or are a Nintendo fetishist. The Wii's motion controls are fairly revolutionary, however they're not that great. The best games make the motion controls as unintrusive as possible. The 360 on the other hand has refined rather than revolutionised. It has the best online system, the best controller and (of this generation at least) the best collection of games.

The only other things the Wii does better than the 360 is first party games, but Microsoft kick their arse in terms of third party games so hard they resemble a purple dulux colour chart.

Long story short, if you want to try something new for the sake of it being new rather than good. Get a Wii. Otherwise, get a 360.

An actual frisbee looks the most like a frisbee I find, and applies best to the laws of Physics.

Also when playing in a park, etc, the background graphics are very good. :)

Do you prefer playing ACTUAL football or a game of FIFA?

Because I can't play for Celtic or Barcelona down the park, can I?

What a completely ludicrous comparison.

Christ, how unimaginative were your childhood games of football?

"Ahm goin Ronaldo"

"Thats no fair"

"Im wearing a Barca top so it is"

"Suppose so, fine, Im goin Batistuta"

I find if you get caught up in the real life game down the park enough, it'll feel far closer like playing for Barcelona than playing FIFA ever would.

Its no different from playing a frisbee in real life or playing it virtually though, is it? You cant play frisbee on a luxury beach somewhere without going on holiday, but you can with wii sports resort.

There is absolutely no difference between virtual football and virtual frisbeeing.
