Do you think you will ever stop playing games and if so when will it be?

For me I hope to keep playing games as long as I enjoy them and can't really see me stopping anytime soon. I will probably just stop when I get arthritis from gaming so much!

Never really. If I get a wife then I will probably have a kid (hopefully a boy) so will have to teach them the ways of gaming. B)

I played in a CoD clan that had guys in their 60's. They didn't have the most lightening quick reflexes but they had more experience and patience when assigned to a task. That clan ended up being one of the best in Europe.

I doubt I'll ever stop gaming as such, my taste in games has changed over the years though.

TBH, im scared of the day (if there is the day), that i lose interest in gaming. I have many hobbies and this is the one that seems to be the most prominent in the last year or so. I can easily balance my work life, my family and my relationship with my girlfriend. So not in the near future. Im only 20 though.

The day I join a clan will likely be the day I give up.

I don't really play a great deal though.

Why?

Clan is the footballing equivalent of moving from the juniors (open servers) to a professional league (clan matches).

If you are serious about playing any online FPS, the only way to really test yourself (and your team mates) is in clan matches.

I didn't actually get into gaming until that long ago, not properly anyway.

I had a Gamecube, and an N64 before that, but I think on each of those consoles I only really played sports games, and even then it probably only added up to 1 or 2 hours a week at most.

I got a 360 for Christmas two years ago and it was just gathering dust until I got BioShock which I got ridiculously into and since then I probably spend far too much time playing games now.

I'm 38, and have been playing video/computer games since the Atari VCS in the 70's. In fact, I think I might have had one of those plug-in Pong games before that.

I don't intend stopping anytime soon.

Do you get head shot bonuses and celebrate by going on Secondlife for a spitroast?

I realise you're taking the piss.. ;) ..but I always played realism servers, which never gave bonuses, and you didn't increase in rank based on the time you play the game. It's one of the reasons I'm not so keen on CoD4 is due to the achievements given. Players should just get better by playing better rather than "earning" being better.

No worries, he can just buy a Play Station.

I've been gaming since I was 4 years old. I had an atari 2600. I'm now 25 and love it as much as ever, though probably not as obsessed as some on here.

Since then I've had: NES, SNES, Master System, N64, Dreamcast, Playstation, Gamecube, X360, Wii, Playstation 3 and DS.

The only prominent consoles i've ever missed out on owning are a Mega Drive (since my mate had one when I was young and I had a SNES) the Sega Saturn, Xbox and a PS2. (All of which I had regular access to via mates as well as a Jaguar and CD-i but they aren't really major!!)

I daresay I'll never stop gaming. Why should I? There are more destructive passtimes, no one gets harmed. My girlfriend laughs at me, yet knows when I move in with her next year that the 360 is coming with me and any future consoles will probably be bought. It's a part of who I am and what I enjoy doing in my free time along with the gym and going to footy.

I have games on my PS3 that I haven't played for more than an hour. I don't have a lot of free time and would prefer to watch a film than play on it. The only thing I do play is the Wii when my nieces are round. I will probably never stop gaming but I don't game as much or enjoy it as much as I used to.
You will retire me, but Iniesta will retire us both.
