Xbox Windows Live Problem windows live starts up automatically

How can I stop my xbox signing in to windows live messenger as soon as i sign in on my profile?. I do use messenger on it now and then but sometimes i just want a bit of peace and quiet but can't as I am unable to appear offline or sign out of it.

There is a way to stop in it profile settings somewhere. :unsure:

Press guide button, scroll along to Setting, click Profile, click Auto Sign In, and disable it.

I can't even sign in to MSN on my xbox! I don't have a clue on why it doesn't.

Press the middle button then go to settings then onto prefrences and on windows live messenger it gives you a choice to sign in or not sign in when you start your xbox.
