Oddly, the club I'm probably most reliable and have most control over is my driver. I would probably be a high-20s handicapper so I don't know why I'm proficient with the one thing most golfers struggle at.

I'm pretty decent with the driver as well. I mainly hit it straight-ish and reasonably long (guessing an average of 260/270 yards) for a club golfer and would say that I probably hit around 70% of the fairways.
I can also hole out pretty well but everything in between is a bit shite. For a 7 handicapper my iron play is diabolical. I very seldomly give myself birdie chances. If I can get my iron play sorted out for next season I really think I could play to a category 1 handicap without too many problems.
