Wii Sports Resort looks like a great mini-game compendium, I think I'll buy it instead of Modern Warfare.
Activision Can f**k Right Off. MW2 RRP = £55

The XBOX360 controller has been widely acknowledged to be the best designed joypad ever made, and I can operate one far more accurately than I can a mouse and keyboard.
Im actually not that keen on the 360 pad at all. I also didnt like the original Xbox pad either to be honest.
Although I understand that it is praised quite highly.
However if you're more accurate with any console controller over a mouse and keyboard Im surprised you managed to even click on the link to bring you to this page

Unless you have sausage-fingers, the controls are never a hinderance once you have became accustomed to them.
Its not about hinderance of using a control pad, its about simple common sense.
Even the top control pad users couldnt compete with an average player using a mouse and keyboard.
No player on a control pad has the same dexterity and control as someone using a mouse and keyboard (for any FPS or Third person game)

I find PC gaming ridiculously unweildy and awkward because using a keyboard to control so many different funcitons is ridiculously overcomplicated, when I could just press a button with a flick of the thumb instead of frantically searching for the key.
For any FPS, MMO or RTS its not complicated in the slightest, not even a little bit.
For games such as Fifa etc then I agree that mouse and keyboard isnt great, its quite bad in fact.
Fortunately you can use Xbox 360 pads, PS3 pads and even Wii controllers on PC too

Don't turn this into a PC vs Console flame war, please, because both have pros and cons.
Very true. Consoles for example are cheaper and more accessible for people.
PCs are just better at everything else

Really? I think its pish. I also think that game halo that game freaks w**k over is also pish. It would have been a lot more fun on an N64 and thats because the N64s controller was well better for shoot em ups. I don't like shoot em ups generally but really enjoyed Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Turok and I know thats because of the controller.

About 75% of 360 owners acknowledge that Halo is pish. The rest are prepubescant losers.
Halo is Mr Average's Game of Fun Shooting Things. Ridiculously dull. Only 'original' things in it are forge and theater.

I don't know if I'd go as far as that Cynical Saintee, but yeah, Halo does have an undeserved reputation. It's a slightly above average game and most Xbox owners acknowldege that.
Any opinions are not necessarily my own but those of the BBC.
