Metal Gear Solid 4 Is it any good?

OK,

I bought this when I first got my PS3 but never got into it.
Ive recently started playing my PS3 more (mainly due to Guitar Hero:Metallica and RE5)
I was just wondering if MGS4 was worth persevering with? I liked the original PSone Metal Gear game (although it was a bit too cinematic for my tastes)

It does have a lot of cinematics which would please you if you love the story, but the ending was probably one of the most intense gaming of my life.

pure kwoality game, definitely worth playing through to the end, 1 of my faves on ps3

Worst of the series, but still excellent.
