Something I've noticed is that with most universities in Scotland most people seem to know people who go to them, or you'll meet people from the other Scottish unis on night's out etc, I don't think I've ever met anyone who's gone to St Andrews, even when I've been out in Dundee.

Perhaps it's just luck, but I've always had the impression that they keep themselves to themselves.

Awww it's cute that the atheists want to be noticed. Bunch of fucking boring c***s. Get them to f**k. I have yet to meet one that wasn't mentally ill.

I don't see the logic behind suggesting St Andrews is bad because it's an Oxbridge rejects retreat. How does that make it a bad university? Surely if a candidate gets rejected from his first choice, they will accept the second best one? Why would you want to go to a lesser university?

I could have chose Edinburgh Uni but I wanted to go to Stirling. Does this make me a philistine?

Similar to me. I was all set for Edinburgh but then changed to Aberdeen after the open day. Best thing I ever did to be honest.

I posted that video on my mate's Facebook wall who attends St.Andrews Uni but it was swiftly deleted as he knows someone in the video. :(

After the Edinburgh open day they were immediately rejected in my mind, far too many English rugby type characters about.
Itzdrk - once again clueless

Finished my 2nd year at Edinburgh today. I may well be coming back for resit(s) come August, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Looking forward to a well earned booze up with some mates from my course tonight.

Final exam of the course tomorrow. Three hours on Czechoslovakia 1948-1993, then it's off to a beer garden for a piss-up with the class. Specialist subject has been a bitch for good marks, but under exam conditions it's said to be more generous.

Had my one and only exam today. British Welfare System 1906-1990. As hideous a module as it sounds.

Exam was all right though. Third year done, happy days. Got given some books to look through on the way out the door my dissertation supervisor. Dick.

Good to see everyone finishing up. My last is tomorrow as well. Hoping to channel the spirit of craigkillie in Stats.

Had my first and only exam this year, only needed 6 marks to pass which is bizarre but very glad to have done it all now. 1st year of Computer Science = done.
What is my perfect crime? I break into Tiffany's at midnight. Do I go for the vault? No. I go for the chandelier - it's priceless. As I'm taking it down a woman catches me. She tells me to stop. It's her father's business. She's Tiffany. I say 'no'. We make love all night. In the morning the cops come and I escape in one of their uniforms. I tell her to meet me in Mexico, but I go to Canada. I don't trust her. Besides, I like the cold. Thirty years later I get a postcard. I have a son and he's the chief of police. This is where the story gets interesting: I tell Tiffany to meet me in Paris, by the Trocadero - she's been waiting for me all these years; she's never taken another lover. I don't care, I don't show up. I go to Berlin. That's where I stash the chandelier.

If it isn't a crap pun, boasts about PES, some fabricated nonsense about wanting Celtic to do well or some kind of sexual comment about women, it isn't a twisteH post.
