Just played the intro of this...wow!
It is slick, fast and bloody good fun. Gonna get into it a good bit later on tonight. Anyone else got it?

About 1/3 of the way through the main questline just now.
I'd just say that I'd recommend it to anyone. The last time I enjoyed a game quite so thoroughly was Fallout 3, but they are completely different as you'd expect. it's really fast paced, easy to navigate and control, and well, jumping between the skyscrapers of NYC trying to avoid military helicopters is just a shitload of fun.

Gonna wait till this one drops to about £20, its got a lot of positives and negatives about it. Gonna complete FF7 and Infamous platinum this week then move onto Ghostbusters on Friday. After that ill see the price. The city looks graphically horrible though.

It's not perfect, everything looks quite samey. But it's smooth.

Now. Is it just me or does this game become rather f'cking annoying when they're tanks and helicopters everywhere. And those f'cking virus detectors.

Yeah, im not too into this game. The movement can be annoying at times and the fights are just a riot (in an annoying way). Good to pick up and muck about though.

Yeah, I reckon I'll go through it once then trade it back in. I hate the fact the you can never do anything in a base because b*****ds start firing grenade launcher's and rockets at you
Different parts of the game are either sublime or complete pish.

Yeah totally mate. Just spent a good hour noising up the army, hijacking the helicopters, strafing up NYC streets blasting shit out of pedestrians and infected. Leaping from the helicopters and gliding down to the street, plucking a passer by from the crowds and speed jumping high up onto a roof to consume them.
So much fucking fun.

I finished the main questline last friday after going back to it because I was busy with a barrage of new releases.
Yeah, it's pretty damn fun. As has been said, graphically it's not great but the fun factor is great and it gets progressively harder at just the right pace.
Not a biggy for achievements though. As I said, done main quest in about 10 hours but only got 340 or so points from it. Seems like a LOT of work to get 1000 on this (not least playing through the entire game without dying which is nigh on impossible)

It's not hard to get that achievement. You just have to "Quit to Main Menu" then "Continue Game" if you die, instead of "Reload Last Checkpoint". It's a nuisance at times but not difficult.

just rented this for a week and a good title, tho i wouldnt of been happy buying it
the main quests is pretty boring and at times bloody annoying, the enjoyment is just free roaming and doing the events, especially the kill events and just randomally blowing the crap out of anything at moves. trying to complete it before it goes back thursday night
