This may be a daft question, laugh if you wish!
For the Wii, would anyone say that playing this would maybe help when playing real golf?

probably not, although the swing is realistic and gives u better timing, where the club head is coming down to and the position of the clubhead isnt all that important. Im the only golfer out of all my mates and when we play together i usually have the worst swing, possibly unrelated but i doubt it.
And somewhere in the distance, the gambler he broke even !!

Just got the game for my birthday from my girlfriend which is maybe a bit sad considering I'm not 10 anymore.
Played it last night and from my brief playing I think this will be the best Tiger Woods ever. The precision putting is excellent, it looks great and the choice of golfers is very good.
But I love how they've taken away the noise that the fairway woods used to make. That sort of wooden sound and replaced it with something more realistic.
Two niggles, one is that short putts can be quite tricky although i suspect that needs getting used to. Also the golfer seems to have a wild celebration after every holed putt even if just for a par. Retief Goosen doesn't jump about like a lunatic EA.
But overall very good so far from my brief playing.

Just won all 4 majors (and 5-6 minor wins) and the Fed Ex Cup in my first 'PGA Champion' season on the Wii. Quite a marathon, I stupidly set it at 4 rounds per tournament
What do I do now ?
I've never done any of the challenges, are they any good ? How do I unlock everything in the game ? All the level 4 stuff in the Club Shop and all the golfers and courses etc ? Says on my records screen that I've only unlocked 33/55 or something.

Some of the challenges are tough.
St. Andrews final four holes - every one with a birdie is impossible.
Completed up to Pebble Beach apart from the above.
Not started on the tournaments.

I can't do the Natalie Gulbis one. I have got all my stats maxed and I am one round away from my 2nd year on the PGA tour. B)

Finally got a birdie on the second of the four holes, green is like the moon.
But in all my excitement I sliced the next drive into the hotel car park.
