Demo on the 360 Dashboard which is very impressive, and there are a few trailers worth watching too. The new online modes are a big attraction, and this game is a must have.

There's no need for another Tiger Woods game right now other than to line EA's pockets. The 09 version is the best golf game I've ever played. Within a few weeks of this new one being out, there'll be no-one left to play online on '09.
I'll probably get this for the Wii though, be interesting to see if Motion Plus makes a discernable difference.

I downloaded the new demo on the 360 last night. I think its actually a pretty decent game. A big differnce from the last one. Although I've jumped from 08-10.

Aye the demo is very good.
The online modes have Daily, Weekly and Play the Pros tournaments. The daily ones have tournaments where you have all day to play one round and then your score goes on the leaderboard at the end of the day. The weekly tournaments, you have four rounds to play in one week and you post your best score at the end of the week. And the Play the Pros tournaments work alongside the PGA Tour in real life and you play four rounds with the Pros and you compare yourself with the real life Pro scores at the end of the tournament.
Having looked at these online modes, i wonder if i will ever be offline playing

That sounds that it's actually going to pretty decent to play online.
I'm actually pretty shite at golf games as I can't keep my swing straight using the toggle on the controller. I slice most of my shots which is a pain as they end up in the rough most times.
I certainly won't be going anywhere near the online modes untill I get my act together on these golf games. It will probably take me a while but in the end I might be able to whip your arse.

As I've said before, the worst thing about the Tiger Woods games is the power button. People who use this can hit drives 450+ yards, which reduces almost every hole to little more than a pitch and putt affair. There's people who go round 18 holes in around 40 shots, which is utterly ridiculous.

You are so negative...

It's true though. The latest console versions of FIFA and Tiger Woods were both top notch, and with DLC and online updates readily available, there's no need to keep bringing a whole new game out year after year anymore.
I'm all for good, honest capitalism, but this takes the biscuit.

Oh, I know.
In fact I would say that between 2005 and now the game needed nothing more than minor updates released, but EA being the soulless b*****ds they are would rather release full titles for the moolah.
But that's EA all over isn't it? You can't trust them really, you only need to look at the continual FIFA licences (do we really need two a year as it was for a while?).

This will be my first TW game since playing on the PS2 so i am looking forward to it.
I am buying one game soon but i am yet to decide whether to get UFC, Fight Night R4 or TW PGA 10.
However, if my summer work goes well i may splash it on two (or even three).

UFC is pish. It gets boring after a while as it's repetitive.

i got this today for ps3, everything that has to load takes ages, like on event calender, you scroll over the 1st day of the event, it freezes for 15 sec then carries on, it does it all the time and there are already 2 courses available for download, 5 quid each
apart from that its alright if not frustrating

The Wii version is great, apart from a couple of annoying things.

The 04 game was great, it has to be said, but I think the 09 version trumps it. The online gameplay is second to none.
I suppose with the online aspect but just for the general play 04 was brilliant. Im still going to give tiger 10 a go and hopefully its good.
