I picked this up a couple of weeks back at Morrisson's for £15 and just been playing it over the last couple of days.

Thought I would like it as I always did enjoy the Tony Hawk's games, especially the earlier ones.

Can't get into it though - controls are far too frustrating and fiddly.

Anyone else got it? What do you think?

Had it. Enjoyed it. Got rid of it. First in Scotland to get 1000/1000 B) (There is now an extra 250 tho )

Want too get it, cant find it cheaper than £30 though. Will probably buy it when its cheaper

had the first one, it was fun, but in no way enticed me to buy the sequel. I liked the new mechanics they added, though pernickety, it was a smart move that separated it from TH. But for all my skateboarding goodness ill stick to Tony Hawks 2.

I've just spent half an hour trying to line my skateboard up with a tiny rail so I can do three different types of grinds down it in under a minute, and keep failing.

This is shite. I'm going to punt it and buy THP8.

Its a really good game imo. I just think its better and more realistic than Tony Hawk's button-mashing, million-point-combo, Jackass-style, triple-impossible+triple kickflip+360 airwalk combos ove helicopter crap. They're good but I prefer Skate.

Exactly. Much more realistic tricks, physics, graphics, no different difficulties and it's much more harder than Tony Hawk's games.
