Hanging on here, although it's gonna be tough. If it goes to a game 7 I honestly believe the Phils are good for it particularly given our success against CC.

Seems my prediction wasn't THAT bad (see above) with both Werth & Rodriguez homering in that game...

GO PHILS!

It is a huge game for you tomorrow, and win that you have a great chance in game 7. However, who is going to be your starting pitcher? A lot of fans want it to be Lee starting, and maybe going 5 innings instead of leaving it to Hamels or Blanton. Although you say your success against CC - he did win the last game, going 6.2 and only giving up 3 runs - can your staff manage to do better? It is a tought one. If CC can go 6, a mix of pitchers get through the 7th and Rivera in the 8th and 9th - that is going to be tough no matter.

Of course if Pettite wins tomorrow - it is all moot (and my prediction was you would lose in 6)

If it goes to game 7 I think we'll probably see JA Happ take the start... Lee reckons he's good to go on 2 days rest but I think if he's used at all he may be used to close(!).

I dunno why, but I have unbelievable confidence about tomorrow night - and that will make game 7 VERY interesting.

Apparently it has been a great WS so far. It probably deserves a game 7, and i may even watch that one.

I can't believe you're in Philly and you haven't been watching!!? You have missed some thrilling baseball (and A-Rod being hit at regular intervals  )

Having a wife who is a Mets fan means she hates both teams, so not much watching will be going on

(for clarification, i said the Yanks would only lose 2 games at the start of the playoffs - and that is why i am saying they will sweep you - i expect you to last 6 games really)

Sorry to mr Cowshed for being right :)

Well thats another year of baseball done, and now for the most fun a braves fan will have all year - thinking of who we can sign/trade for. So:-

Who will Matt Holliday end up with?
Who will be the surprise big name traded (if any)?
Who will be the latest in the long line of Big Money Signing busts the Mets have?

Well, it sounds more like a state trooper wanting to think he is chief of police. 3.3 grammes? I hope he gets released. Or jail time. Or both!

PS It is apparently well known in Bay Area establishment circles that Lincecum and Wilson are fond of a little wacky backy. It only makes me like them more!

Damn. Only a $300 fine. What's that? California state police in reasonable punishment policy? A mistake, surely?

Either way, the sure fire number one pitching pick in next year's fantasy draft lives to pitch another game.

It really says something when that actually is big news.

So, has mr Chris gone into hiding because of the phillies loss?

and who is going to volunteer to run next years fantasy league since the runner has won the last 2 years?

The awards are quite boring this year - i don't think there is any that can really be argued against in so much that it was a wrong decision. The MVPs are going to be easy too - although i'd like to see Jeter win it for the AL that aint going to happen.
