It's a Sony exclusive in Europe.
Any opinions are not necessarily my own but those of the BBC.

I would say its probably a timed exclusive, Atari still have the rights for NA, and im sure they would just hand over all exclusivity rights for a certain territory. Probably hit 360 around or before xmas.

Sony Exclusive?
There has been a few bits of coverage on the 360 dashboard over the past few months, so i'm going to say it will be released on both platforms at the same time

Its not really up for debate, it IS coming to the PS3 first, at least. The definite launch for PS3, PS2 is next month. PSP in august i think. THe 360 version will be out in the next 6 months at some point. SCEE (basically Sonys European company) bought up the rights to publish it in EU before the 360. Not sure about the american release date either.

I definitely remember reading it would be an outright Sony exclusiveonly over here.
However, a quick Google search has brought up a result which says it's timed.

They have missed a massive trick, no multiplayer!

What do you mean at last? The original ghostbusters game was brilliant in its day, absolutely loved the speccy version.

Should have said that
I did. Theres multiplayer and online multiplayer, multiplayer obviously refers to regular classic multiplayer, while if talking about the latter multiplayer, online, it should be stated as such.
Dont roll your eyes at me young man.

On the C64 version's title page, you could press the space bar and get a real sample of Ray Parker Jnr shouting "Ghostbusters"! That was advanced shit for the mid 80's.
Got to say this has been ages in finally making it, I saw screenshots of an xbox Ghostbusters game some 4 years ago. Looked like you would expect, a FPS inside a building with a f**k off beam weapon.
If they could make it online multiplayer, where it requires more than one stream to contain a ghost, and those ghosts at least have some AI it could be a killer title. Sadly, and you know my cynicism, I feel it'll fall foul of marketting hype and branding and end up a pretty hollow title. Still, it has potential so you never know..

Was that the leaked footage when Zootfly were developing it without a license?

It could very well be. A year or two ago some screens hit the forums and like. It was from there I saw them I think.
As I said though, a real co-op online ghost hunting game could be the sort of title left4dead missed out on.
