So, one of the best bands ever have decided to make a game.

This will be for more of the hardcore guitar hero players who can hit the hammer ons and such as some of the solos are just fucking madness on expert. Tehre is also the choice of Expert+. Double bass on the drums. :o . I will add a few videos below. :D

Dyers Eve 100%

Some guy who is sponsered got the game earlier and has already FC'ed (100%) this and a few others which you will be able to see on his channel.

This next video will show the double bass of the drums. The drums are the middle chart for people who dont know. :)

Downloaded the demo off marketplace yesterday and loved it. It's a great feeling playing as the band. Only had 2 Metallica songs on the demo though, which was a shame.

You know? I've never tried any of the Guitar Hero games. My impression is that it's just a puzzle game, press certain buttons at certain times, wrapped up in big sugary package.

It's not. It's unisex DDR wrapped up in a big sugary package.
Any opinions are not necessarily my own but those of the BBC.

See if you have a couple of DDR mats spare, try this for a laugh..

1) DDR Mats
2) Mame
3) Track and Field, Hypersports or some other "sporting" arcade game.
4) Drunken mates
5) More drink

Mix.. :)

Whats the difference between that and a CD?

Nothing.

Its not even the first time they have been in guitar hero games, even the full death magnetic album is available in guitar hero format.

Downloaded this the other day, but if i patch it to play it, ill get banned from xbox live, its a conundrum.

Though I like Mettallica a tiny bit, i view them as dinosaurs of the music industry. I was insinuating that they would just have unwittingly signed the GH deal, but when they realized that millions of people would be receiving their songs without buying the album, they would go into another huff like the Napster debacle. mmmm, Pepsi

Jesus.
The Napster thing was never about money. It was about control of their material.
Anyone who is even a remote fan of the band should know that Metallica actuvely encouraged people to bootleg their gigs and distribute the material, especially in the early days.

Napster was never about money, it was about control of unfinished material being put out my an official radio station. A quality control if you will. 'I disappear' being the track in question.

Well, single handedly getting Napster to ban over 300,000 (When all the while they want their fans to share and bootleg their material ;) ) and then setting in motion for Napster to become a fee based service sounds like someone in it for the money.

Imagine the scenario, only replace Metallica with Public Enemy or someone. Dont let your love for an over the hill band cloud your judgement

How can a band, who after almost 30 years together, can still sell out arenas/stadiums and go straight to number 1 in almost every country, be even close to being "over the hill"? ;)

How can a band, who have yet to outdo themselves after multiple times of trying and failing over the last 20 years, be over the hill?
