The Knicks beat Miami by 2 to force a 5th game. New York were impressive in the 3rd quarter and deserved the win.

No.8 seed 76ers knock off No.1 ranked Bulls 79-78 for a 4-2 Round 1 win, Chicago really blew the chance to tie series as they had a 1 point lead and the ball with just a few seconds left but centre Omer Asik missed two free throws then foul Andre Igoudala who hit his foul shots to ice the game for Philly. In the next round the will face Boston who closed out against Atlanta with a 83-80 game 6 win thanks mainly to a great showing and 28 points from Kevin Garnett.

Definitely a case of the Bulls loosing rather than the Sixers winning it. The Bulls can blame injuries all they want, but they out rebounded the Sixers by 23 and the Sixers shot less than 40%.

I caught a bit of PTI on ESPN earlier and some good points were raised, Thibodeau has them playing far too defensive basketball. It wasn't just Watson to blame, Boozer was poor, with the absence of Rose, he becomes the most offensive player on the team and he just didn't get it done.

Absolute disaster for the Bulls given they were the number 1 seeds.

The Bulls should still have had enough to get through this tie. It's a shame Rose got injured as they looked like the team to beat in the East. Can't see past the Heat in the East now.

Boston take game 1 of their conference semi against Philly 92-91 thanks mainly to another Rajon Rondo triple double and a 29 point 11 rebound night from Kevin Garnett.

Boozer never comes up when we need him & now we are stuck with a ridiculous contract.

At the end of the day, it was a poor decision from Watson. Drive to the corner & run out the clock, or at least get yourself fouled. Asik shoots something like 45% from the line & Watson 75-80%, you don't pass it, that simple.

I only put on bet on for championship winner at the start of the season, the Clippers the minute they paired Griffin and Paul up. At 20/1 it was a pretty good bet I thought, but a tough series up next for them.

Oklahoma beat the Lakers 119-90. Incredible stuff, Thunder looking impressive so far in the play-offs.

The Celtics go up 2-1 on the 76ers after an easy 107-91 win. KG, Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo all finished with big double-doubles in this blow-out game.

Lakers blow a 7 point lead in the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter to lose 77-75 to the Thunder in Game 2.

I recorded the Lakers - Thunder game last night. Watching it this morning and the score was 75-68 with 2 minutes left. "End of programme"! What! Missed the last 2 minutes and Thunder score 9 points with no reply to take the game. Gutted.

Still on for a Heat-Thunder final I predicted. Thunder to take it. Although I hope the Pacers knock out the Bosh-less Heat.

Basketball is probably the one US sport i don't usually bother with, but I kinda got caught up watching this last night. You certainly missed a brilliant ending. Maybe someone here can answer this....

The Lakers took a time out with 0.3 seconds left in the game. Can they score a basket direct from, I want to call it throw in  , the put in or whatever it's called?

That's what I thought. So what was the point in launching the ball at the basket? With that little time it wasn't going to travel all the way down the court and still be time for someone to put it in.
