Just wondering how many P&b members are keen anglers like myself, so i was wondering if we could get updates from various fisheries/lochs/rivers that you have been to.
Simple little things like flies/tackle used etc and maybe sometime in the future possibly organise a charity day somewhere.
Hope this catches your attention.
Cheers ;)

Haven't wet a line for a couple of years now. Used to be fishing daft, even tying my own flies.
Fly fishing for salmon and dry fly fishing for brown trout was my prefered days out.

Not too keen on stockie bashing, still a good day out though.

I would be very surprised if he sold/sells any of those half Celtic/half Killie monstrosities.

I will be trying more Loch/River fishing instead of fisheries but for convenience there are about 6 of them within 5 miles of my house. Handy for spending a couple of hours putting the world to rights ;)

I'm heading up the Tay today for Sea Trout. I'll be spinning from the shore just down from where the Earn joins, has anyone else seen fish moving further up?

How did you get on? I am away to Kinlochrannoch next Saturday to try and get my hands on a few Brown trout. Last time i was there i got snapped at the bank (during the night) and i had 7lb leader on. What a fight i had with that one. Got at least another 15-20 during that session but only two were good enough for the net. Great sport though.

Taking one look at the SPL board, I can exclusively reveal fishing season is in full swing.

Caught the tide at about 3pm but it was way too bright. Saw a few fish moving at slack water (round about 3.30) but didn't get any offers. One thing I did notice was the amount of shrimps in the water, the river is in better nick than I can remember it being before.

I'm heading up to Aviemore today for a few days so going to try some of the local rivers.
