Quite happy about that. Our WR corp is great now - Moss, Galloway and Welker will make a great team for Brady to throw to. Also Benjamin Watson at TE if he manages to stay healthy this year. Out O looks very strong as usual - need to strengthen the Defense in the draft though as we are ancient in the Secondary.

There's a potential that this is a middle ground for a subsequent trade on to the Jets too.

Much tougher, that's for sure.
The NFC division we're up against is the NFC South - Falcons, Saints, Panthers, Buccaneers - All good sides.
The AFC division we're up against is the AFC South - Colts, Jaguars, Titans, Texans - All good sides, apart from Houston, but they always beat us anyway.
And the two other games against sides who finished top of the other AFC divisions will be against Pittsburgh (SB champions) and San Diego.
I sense a 5-11 season ahead.

Obviously this one won't be final, but this is how I think it'll go down just now:

The Chiefs will then either take Crabtree, Curry or possibly even someone like Brian Orakpo for the new 3-4 defense, which looks horrible, guys like Dorsey, Tamba Hali and Derrick Johnson look so out of place in it. I think its quite hard to predict what Seattle will do, but I reckon Crabtree is the top guy on their board. You don't really know with Cleveland either I think what they do will depend on whether they trade Braylon Edwards or not.
I think Cincinnati will go with an OT, they can't afford Palmer getting banged up again and have openly shopped their LT Levi Jones.
Oakland will go for the best athlete as usual, the position of the player doesn't really matter. If he runs a good forty Oakland will probably draft them even if it is a huge reach, remember Mad Al has drafted both a kicker and a punter in the 1st round. The last 2 drafts for example Oakland have taken the athlete's with arguably the highest ceiling of anyone in Russell and McFadden.
I think Jacksonville should stay with Garrard, he didn't have much help last year with the offensive line fucked and only one playmaker of note who has now been released for his coke problems. Andre Smith or Jason Smith I reckon they will go with. They actually when I think about it have a shit load of needs and should probably just go with the best player on the board, and they made a big mistake IMO releasing Jones, he was probably their only brightspot last season.
Green Bay might go for BJ Raji if he is still there for their 3-4 defense as the NT, I don't really think they need much help offensively, maybe another RB, but not a top 10 need for them. Also Everette Brown looks like a legit 3-4 rusher, which they want and you never know if Kampman will transcend well to the 3-4.
I think San Francisco will go for the best remaining OT left as they're O-Line has been rotten the last few years and no point drafting a QB if they can't protect him.
Haven't followed the draft as much this year compared to the last two years, but still followed a reasonable amount, and I'll watch it in full again.
1. Detroit - Matt Stafford
2. St. Louis - Eugene Monroe
3. Kansas City - Aaron Curry
4. Seattle - Michael Crabtree
5. Cleveland - Brian Orakpo
6. Cincinnati - Jason Smith
7. Oakland - Darius Heyward Bey (Oakland needs WR help, hes 6 ft 2, runs a 4.30, sign him up!)
8. Jacksonville - BJ Raji
9. Green Bay - Everette Brown
10. San Francisco - Andre Smith

The Lions should take Stafford, but they don't have a great history of making great draft choices. And the Bengals could snap up Crabtree after losing Houshmandzadeh to Seattle.
Actually, the Jags might take Mark Sanchez instead. They're not all that comfortable with Garrard at QB

Millen is gone now so I expect the Lions to make a good choice, well avoid taking Crabtree...
I just watch it on nfl.com

I like the look of Brian Cushing and think he will end up in St Louis. Him and Chris Long could be the future of that defence, need some serious work up front though.
I'm interested to see who my Giants take! Think will probably plump fir a wide out to add to are Corp, we took Manningham last year and Sinorice Moss the year before.

Stafford isn't a lock in my books.
The Lions have Culpepper and where Stafford is obviously the better option, can they really afford to use their first pick on a QB who is going to be hammered without protection? Teams can win without an outstanding QB, they can't win without a good OL. Even looking ahead to next year's draft, Colt McCoy, Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford (possibly) should all be declared for the draft, all three are arguably better than Stafford and one of which the Lions will surely be able to pick up.
I don't even know if Stafford goes at Seattle because like someone else mentioned, perhaps they'll want to give Hassleback something to aim for, that being Crabtree.
Aaron Curry is another one who could go at second.

Come on Culpepper hasn't played well since like 2004
The Lions also need to change the face of their franchise. Right now even though hes gone thats still Matt Millen, and what better way to change that than draft a QB? As soon as Matt Ryan went to Atlanta people forgot about Michael Vick.

I would definitely disagree they are better than Stafford. Tebow, for one, is going to be a complete bust at NFL level. He has an OK arm, but thats it. Think Michael Vick without speed.

Tebow has been told he'll only be considered by teams for either TE/FB in the NFL.
