New England Patriots. With Tom Brady back, 2 picks in the first 34 of the draft and a load of cap room I can see my Pats being loaded for a few years to come.

No idea. But whoever it is will be overpaid.

I'm just fine with the old #12.

Money guarantees nothing. Just ask the Dallas Cowboys.

In other news Matt Cassel has joined the Kansas City chiefs.

Kansas City's 2nd round pick which is #34 overall ie the second pick in the second round. With a fairly deep draft it's as good as a late first rounder.

This is a good site to watch for free agency news:

http://www.rotoworld...t/Home_NFL.aspx

Bart Scott has joined the jets for $48 million over 6 years with $22 million guaranteed. Ray Lewis will probably stay with Baltimore. Jets have also signed Lito Shepperd from Philly for a couple of draft picks. Looks like the Jets are going to load up on defence and have a weak offence a la Baltimore.

heard dawkins is out of phily too, Vikings have taken him I believe.

Was delighted my beloved giants kept Jacobs but felt should have franchised ward as Jacobs was always going to sign!

Need strenght in depth in The secondary though!

Keith brooking is a cowboy and the broncos are looking at the possibilityoftrading jay cutler.

I'm quite happy to put good money on the Redskins at 33/1 for the superbowl. Considering we had a top 4 defence last year which was absolutely, and I mean absolutely, void of pass rush I'm excited to see just what we are capable of with Heynesworth in the team. I think Jason Taylor will be a different player next year as well as he suffered a lot from a bad injury last year (which could have cost him his leg), add to that the room Heynesworth will present to him.

We also have a perfect position at #13 in the draft where you have an option on a very good player without having to pay the big bucks that a top 10 pick would command.

I'm excited! :)

I think with their free agent signings, the Pats have about $10m left in room considering they were extremely close to the cap when Cassell was there.

We don't have to ask Dallas about money guaranteeing nothing, we have plenty of first hand experience ourselves. Dan Snyder is reknowned for getting his man no matter the price and it has been the case again. With no big free agent signing last year his hands were probably getting itchy.

I heard Adam Schefter say the other day that having talked to many coaches within the game, and in particular the Pats coaches, they all consider Cassell to be inside the top 5 quarterbacks in the NFL and has the potential to be an elite QB.

I heard schefter saying that on total access too. That's pretty high praise. Let's be honest though, Kansas city were awful last year, the capitulation at home to the chargers late on in the season was embarrasing. I no they had around 20 rookies on there roster last year and hope fir there sake these players have learnt and learnt quick! 1 shining light is Dwayne Bowe. He is a phenominal talent.

33-1 is pretty decent odds for the skins, though I still have my doubts about Jason Campbell! Could be a make or break season fir him.

My Giants have added another d-lineman in Chris Canty to bolster are wafer thin defence.Canty now joins rocky Bernard, fred Robbins, justin tuck the returning osi uminyera ( or however u spell it)

We need a solid wide out with plaxico's uncertainty and amanni toomer in free agency! Is marvin Harrison still available?

Quote

Who will win the superbowl?

A bit early to discuss that considering free-agency and the draft are not out the way

Quote

Who will the number 1 draft pick be?

Probably Matt Stafford, but personally I don't think hes worth such a high pick

Quote

Will tom Brady come back better?

He'll be as good as ever

Quote

Is the redskins defence the best money can buy?

Giants. Jason Taylor has just been released as well, Washington robbed again in a trade. That said hes past his best. The Giants get Osi Umenyiora back and have signed a few good players in FA so far.

Quote

Will the lions win a game?

Yes

Marvin Harrison is done. 36 years old and extremely injury prone. If the Giants want a veteran WR I'd try and get Chad Johnson for a mid round draft pick or Boldin from Arizona. Looks like Houshmandzadeh is going to Seattle or Minnesota. Tory Holt I suspect will also be available cheap and will do a job for a year or two for someone.

having osi back is like having a brand new player. Just hope he can come back stronger than ever.

Didn't no Taylor had been released though. Must be an under lying issue with his calf injury. Could it be career threatning? Can see no reason to release him after trading for him.

Most likely salary cap reasons.

Houshmandzadeh is now officially a Seahawk. I can potentially see Crabtree slipping out of the top 5 of the draft now. Not forgetting he skipped workouts due to surgery, it was found he was smaller than originally stated, and hes not really that fast. That said he'll go under the radar IMO and become a very good player.

TJ has gone from 1 bad team to another!

I wonder if Crabtree could end up in Cincy as his replacement.

Taylor was an $8m cap hit for us. In one way I wish he had stayed to give it one more attempt, on the other I would prefer the $8m.

Do they need someone to preach pro-life sentiments or tell the current squad about NFL Europe?

Why else would you have that man anywhere near your team?

They were offering him 23 million a season as well. Seemingly he's agreed terms with Arizona. I still think there might be life left in Alex Smith yet...

Maybe he can help the 49ers reach superbowl as he just did with the Cardinals?

He's played plenty of games, so he's not a bust in that respect. His performances have been atrocious, I'll grant you that, but at least he has played.
