  • Video: Kenny Miller Has Brilliant Reaction To Hitting Crossbar

Kenny Miller has a lot to be cheery about right now.

The veteran striker penned a two-year contract extension at Rangers on Tuesday, keeping him with the current Scottish Championship leaders until 2017.

And he’s been demonstrating on the training field just why boss Mark Warburton has decided to reward him with a new deal, which is likely to see him end his playing career at Ibrox.

Miller was taking part in a mini-Crossbar Challenge at the Light Blues’ Murray Park training ground prior to signing his new deal.

And he was on target with a delicately placed, left-footed effort off of the woodwork.

The former Scotland international, 35, let out an almighty “come on baby” after hitting his intended target from just outside the penalty box.

  • Video: On-Loan Goalie Danny Ward Looks Good Enough to Replace Simon Mignolet

Danny Ward is quickly making a name for himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Scottish Premiership thanks to his impressive form for Aberdeen this season.

The Welsh goalie has been with the Dons since joining them on loan from Liverpool in the summer and helped them to eight victories in their first 10 games of the campaign.

It’s been a more difficult spell of late for Derek McInnes’ men – they’ve failed to pick up three points in any of their last five matches.

But that’s not Ward’s fault – and he made sure the weekend 1-1 draw with Motherwell wasn’t their fifth defeat on the bounce thanks to some sensational saves.

With Simon Mignolet far from an assured presence between the sticks for Liverpool, fans must see this and think he could do a job as their number one and become a star in the English Premier League.

  • Why Derek McInnes Being Sacked by Aberdeen is So Far From Being True

It's one downside to Twitter that a terrible rumour can somehow grow arms and legs before turning into something a lot of people believe is true.

Take Derek McInnes leaving Aberdeen as an example of that.

Before you Dons fans get all emotional, your manager hasn't been sacked or called it quits.

But a read at Twitter Wednesday afternoon could have had you believe he was on his way out of Pittodrie.

Here's why it's all just a rumour involving a bookmaker and one ridiculous parody Twitter account.
