Scottish Football Tips Best Bets 28th November 2015

We are delighted to continue a tie up with Scottish Football Tips who will be providing us with a regular series of free football tips. These guys have a great track record of success in tipping and are well worth a follow on twitter too (@FitbaTips).

The only Ladbrokes league action this week is the Scottish Premiership. I have already posted in the forums about the BTTS price from McDiarmid Park on Friday night. The 1.94 with 888Sport is still available.

Kilmarnock are overpriced to beat Partick Thistle at Rugby Park on Saturday. They are 2/1 with Stanjames, the last remaining bookmaker that has them priced that high.

A hat tip here to Venga01 on the forums who pointed out that they were 3.1(21/10) when the markets opened. That is long gone and so will the 2/1 be, possibly by as early as tonight.

But Thistle are actually in decent form with just one defeat in their last six matches. With Killie scoring just once in their last three games I am finding it hard to pull the trigger on the straight win on the WDW market.

I have decided instead to look at Draw No Bet (stake returned if ends a draw) priced at 2.1(11/10) with McBookie, Paddy Power, Betfair and Boylesports

The wiser move is to back this on the Asian Handicap markets. Kilmarnock +0.0 AH is 2.13 with McBookie. That is the exact same bet as Draw No Bet but you often get a little extra out of the AH lines. Every little helps.

The other game that offers up some opportunity in my mind is the Petrofac Cup semi-final at Ibrox. Rangers are rightly strong favourites for this one and I would be very surprised if they did not make it through.

Regardless, a price of 28/1 on Saint Mirren from Coral also took me by surprise. Again, Rangers should win but with Saint Mirren so high it opens up opportunities in the handicap markets.

Somewhere else it opens opportunity is in the total team goals markets. Saint Mirren are 2/1 with Coral to score +0.5 goals and that’s hard to refuse. They have already bagged at Ibrox this season and should have had two but for an errant Steven Thompson penalty.

Both teams to score is 3.1(21/10) with the same firm and that’s the bet I am going to plump for. It’s hard to see The Paisley Saints keeping Rangers at bay so it all rests on a Buddies goal.

Of course it is the William Hill (have you seen this £10 free casino play from William Hill with no deposit required?) Scottish Cup 3rd round weekend and there are some opportunities there too. I will post my bets from that in the forum later today.

Good luck this weekend
